ESRI mapping tools are being utilized in Department and City Emergency Operation Centers to track, respond to and inform the public about storm effects in the City of San Diego resulting from El Nino conditions expected to last until March 2016.
There has not been a convenient way to report real time road closures, flooded areas, and other hazards to the public. There has also been a disconnect in the sharing of information between the Fire and Police Departments and the Public Works Department
