Fishy Problem? Contours to the Rescue

Several lakes on the National Guard training site are under performing in the size and amount of fish caught in them. Habitat enhancement and fishing limitations have had little or no effect on the population. Once the lakes were contoured and dissolved oxygen (DO) levels measured we found that our enhancement had all been done in areas of low DO. We used a fish finder to contour and ESRI software to create mapping solutions.
