The evolution of St. Louis County's E911 to NG911. During the coming year, St. Louis County, Missouri will deploy a Next Generation 911 system that will utilize the county's extensive GIS. This presentation will discuss how GIS drives our deployment of NG911 and how the county ultimately made the transition to NG911. Accurate and precise GIS data enables us to locate callers and dispatch resources in a much more efficient manner than ever before.
