Visualizing the Economic Flow of Local Economy in Japan

Recently, many local governments in Japan need to build economic linkages between local industries to revitalize their economies under the downward trend of local economies. However, previous regional economic studies have hardly worked on indicating economic flow concretely because of a lack of data or methodology to it. This paper would visualize money flow and spatially analyze the structure of local economy, focusing on one local government expenditure and its local industries survey.
