When conditions on a US EPA superfund site are screened around the clock, sub-second air monitoring data across a network of sensors ensure the safety of both the chemical removal team and the community. The Esri GeoEvent Extension is used to retrieve live Odata sensor readings, push data to a SQL Server backend, and generate live map services using ArcGIS for Server. Whether users are browser-based or mobile, the big data capabilities of GeoEvents are leveraged for real-time action plans.
