This study has explored both temporal and spatial correlations for simultaneous estimation of traffic crash frequency with two multivariate spatial-temporal models. The proposed models were developed using Full Bayesian framework and incorporated the spatial-temporal random effects with fixed and mode-varying time coefficients for various modal crashes. GIS tools were deployed to facilitate the mapping of various crash distributions and explore the spatial correlations among various modes.
