Hazard Model for Wildfires in Mineral del Monte, Hidalgo, Mexico

This work proposes a methodology to quantify areas with more probability of occurrence, taking in has four factors of hazard that involved in wildfires such as fuel, weather, topographic, socioeconomic using the multicriteria method, through the AHP applied to GIS. For hazard areas assessment, applied to different periods of return to 5, 10, 25 and 50 years. The areas identified with hazard very high with the 18.86% and high with 16.78%, medium16.92percentage, low 22.68% and very low 24.75%.
