Abstract
Geographic Prioritization for Multiple Environmental Benefits
Track: Environmental Management
Authors: John Wolf
The Chesapeake Bay Watershed Agreement establishes 10 overarching goals and 31 outcomes that collectively aim to restore and protect the Chesapeake Bay watershed. Many of these outcomes establish place-based priorities for conservation and restoration. This presentation will describe how geography is a common thread across many diverse topics and management strategies and how GIS is being used to identify opportunities for collaboration among the many partners in the Bay restoration effort.
