Near Source Tsunami Hazard Assessment: Case Colombian Pacific
Track: Disaster and Emergency Management

Arrival time and flooding of tsunami waves was obtained from numerical modelling. With ArcGIS, datasets were integrated (modelling, DEM, Lidar, orthophoto) converting information to raster & vector in 3 GDB, to assess the exposure level of people, activities and infrastructure. Hazard was classified high. Flooding in some areas was 100% with levels exceeding 3 m of foil overflowing water. 50 maps (1:2000, 1:50000, 1:100000) were create evaluating interaction between flooding and coastal features
