Data and Apps for Statewide Flooding Emergency Response in Texas

This presentation provides an overview, demo, and discussion of issues around a basemap and web apps to support Texas-wide flooding emergency response. The core geodatabase includes 8.6 million address points for structures in all 254 counties in Texas, each attributed with its height above nearest drainage, providing a quantitative means of visualizing risk for flooding. Discussion will include focus on quality issues with the address data and applications.
