Track: Tribal/Indigenous Programs
Authors: stacy schumacher, Nicole Novak
Nearly all information used by Tribal government has a spatial component which can be used in ArcGIS. GIS provides tools for precise identification of geographic areas of importance to Tribes. With the use of the multi-user geodatabase for centralized storage and maintenance of data coupled with ArcGIS Server we can now provide multiple pathways for accessing digital data. We will see examples of how geographic data can be overlaid and used to inform decision making withinTribal government.
