Abstract
Terra Populus’ Architecture for Integrated Big Geospatial Data
Track: Research & Sciences

Big geospatial data is an emerging area of big data and has unique challenges not found within the larger big data community. Geospatial big data poses two unique challenges: 1) raster and vector data structures and analyses have evolved on separate paths for the last twenty years and researchers require new tools to promote data integration; and 2) data providers offer few customizable geospatial services allowing researchers to integrate, analyze, and explore rich geospatial repositories.
