Abstract
Building a Spatial Consensus from Geographical Constraints Modelling
Track: Sustainable Development
Authors: Eric Masson, Olivier Blanpain
This contribution is about spatial decision making. ArcGIS has been used to model and spatialize a set of several multi-stakeholder viewpoints on more than 40 GIS layers in order to quantify and to map the level of spatial constraints at regional scale. This methodology combines stakeholder’s participation (i.e. PGIS), raster analysis and Spatial Analyst® tools. It can be applied to any spatial analysis involving divergent viewpoints between stakeholders in spatial decision making.
