Groundwater is one of the most important and dependable sources of water supply. A GIS can be used effectively to combine different themes objectively. This study analyzed a groundwater potential map (GPM) based on Dempster-Shafer theory. The 387 springs and 11 spring-related factors were used to analyze groundwater potential. The relative operating characteristics was used to validate GPM and the value was 0.722. The GPM can be useful for planners and engineers to water resource management.
