Abstract
Story Map Journals to Communicate Climate Change Science to Managers
Track: Climate Change
Authors: Robert Hoyer
Climate change is an increasingly important management issue for the US Forest Service. Climate fact sheets were developed to educate employees and the public about climate vulnerabilities and adaptation actions for the Pacific Northwest. Static documents were converted to AGOL map journals encouraging end users to engage with the spatial data driving the story. These interactive fact sheets have proven to be a valuable resource allowing users to actively explore potential climate impacts.
