Water level sensor networks are an important component of NOAA’s continuing initiative for a Weather Ready Nation. The Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services (CO-OPS) is responsible for timely dissemination of oceanographic and meteorological data along our nation’s coastline. Using a combination of programming (Python/R), and the Esri platform, mapping products are disseminated for use in historic events, post-event disaster recovery, or as a real-time data analysis tool.
