Water quality and environmental justice (EJ) analyses are considered one of important subjects in southern California, which relates to quality of life. Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) conducted an analysis to identify potential impacts of runoff pollutant on EJ population within transit-oriented development (TOD) areas of Los Angeles County. This project utilized SCAG’s big data, ArcGIS ModelBuilder and SAS to expedite the calculation and visualization process.
