Abstract
Using Spatial Analysis to Improve National Agriculture Imagery Program
Track: Agriculture
Authors: Kent Williams
Used spatial data to analyze factors impacting a critical metric of the National Agricultural Imagery Program - image collection within crop growing season windows. The analysis consisted of compiling 12 years of image collection date information, identifying missed windows using Boolean operators, and visual ID of spatial patterns. Additional analysis linked areas of missed windows with factors impacting collection with airborne platforms. Results include improved monitoring of program metrics.
