Track: Water, Wastewater, and Stormwater

Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI) is an emerging stormwater management method adopted by PWD in 2009. It uses vegetation, soils and other elements to reduce stormwater runoff on site. GIS technology is used during all project phases, from GSI site selection to post construction geodatabase cataloging and data sharing. We will present our site suitability analysis and a new GIS data model built to store and connect GSI spatial data to existing applications and workflows.
