Summarizing the Environmental Impacts of Hurricane Harvey

Hurricane Harvey brought record rainfall and flooding to Houston with flooding that led to regional devastation and numerous environmental impacts. Multiple data points related to air & water quality, health & safety, and power generation were analyzed and communicated using an interactive story map. This story map summarized environmental impacts for layperson and expert alike, and is serving as a portal for accessing environmental data. The story is viewable at HarveyImpacts.HARCresearch.org.
