Integrated Coastal Resilience Assessments Using Decision Support Tools

NatureServe in collaboration with NFWF conducted 7 watershed resiliency assessments around the U.S. coasts. These assessments integrated coastal flooding threats for human community assets and fish and wildlife to understand areas of mutual risk but also areas of potential synergy to improve resilience through conservation and restoration projects. The NatureServe Vista extension to ArcGIS was used to integrated data on human assets, wildlife distributions, and threats to assess impacts.
