Utilizing Survey123 and ArcGIS Online to Improve Damage Assessment

In June 2017, severe weather struck Michigan. Instead of using paper forms, the Michigan State Police used Survey123 to conduct the damage assessments for this incident. After the incident, the MSP created a statewide damage assessment solution. This solution involves three main components powered by ArcGIS Online: Survey123, GeoForm, and map viewers. Providing this solution to the local EM programs allows for a standardized damage assessment option that is user friendly and easily deployed.
