JALBTCX executes the USACE National Coastal Mapping Program which collects elevation and imagery data of US coast line. The JALBTCX partners, NAVOCEANO and NOAA, also perform nautical charting operations and they all perform natural disaster planning and response, this project also fits into the Oceanography and Disaster and Emergency Management disciplines. The versatility of the web GIS solution makes it applicable to any discipline that leverages GIS data.
