Geospatial Information Technology Platform for Forest Management

The JSC Latvia's State Forests (LVM) has developed the geospatial information platform LVM GEO to support its forest management and decision-making processes, enabling company to become more effective and sustainable. The platform includes desktop, web and mobile interfaces than allow more than 700 users to access a single unified database and many modules that support all LVM’s forest management processes: forest inventory, fell planning, scheduling of management actions and others.
