Data analytics and big data are currently trending among digital professionals but we should not forget that small data and simple apps can yield smart payoffs that are practical and useful. PNM's GIS team has utilized ArcGIS Online, ArcMap and Safe's FME to quickly deploy data and web apps - usually without coding - to field crews, managers, service reps and GIS co-workers. These small, targeted apps and tools have a real impact by saving time, improving outcomes and satisfying customers.
