From Paper to Geo-enabled Apps and Reporting, Maryville’s Data Revolution

Integrating paper based processes into the digital world can be challenging, particularly for those collecting the data. This talk describes how the City of Maryville’s Water and Sewer Department (WSD) increased operational efficiencies by integrating Collector Apps, python scripts and webmaps to perform field data collection and real-time validation. Operational dashboards helped WSD staff to plan and prioritize tasks spatially. This would have been challenging without the ESRI platform.
