Mobile GIS initiatives at Chicago Department of Water Management

The mission of the Chicago Department of Water Management (DWM) is to protect the public health in the most environmentally and fiscally responsible manner through the delivery of exceptional water quality and efficient waste management. Presented here are several mobile GIS initiatives undertaken by DWM as part of this mission including: water quality testing, hydrant flushing, sewer infrastructure investigations, and use of operational dashboards to provide executive level program overviews.
