Toward Sustainable Groundwater: The Mystery of Groundwater Storage Change

California's newly formed Groundwater Sustainability Agencies (GSA) have to plan for sustainable groundwater use. Simple GIS spatial analysis tools offer a low cost solution to help GSAs understand groundwater storage change. This presentation will cover the process of managing well water-level level data, creating a multi depth specific yield grid from published values, and integrating these components to generate estimates of storage change through time.
