Integrated Evaluation of BIM Infrastructure Project Planning in GIS Environment

The use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) by the construction industry in Germany has grown considerably in the past years and will soon become mandatory for all infrastructure projects. Autodesk and Esri software technology are used to combine the infrastructure design of the BIM cycle with GIS environmental databases in the ArcGIS platform. This approach speeds up the planning and approval process and facilitates the communication with planners and stakeholders.
