VDOT’s ADA Curb Ramp Condition Assessment using AGOL and Collector App

Virginia DOT has recently made significant progress to assess and improve statewide ADA curb ramps. Through the use of AGOL and Collector App, the agency eliminated its traditional paper and pencil data collection method and was able to effectively collect nearly 30,000 ADA curb ramp field assessments and complete $18M worthy of prioritized improvements in the past three years. The Collector app have dramatically streamlined the business process and greatly reduced the workload of field staff.
