A New Look: Helping Policy Makers See the Impact of Petroleum in Their Districts

In order to help elected leaders better understand the positive impact of the petroleum industry in their communities, API created individual district maps showcasing energy infrastructure—the network of pipelines, storage facilities, power plants, refineries and more that help produce, move, and utilize the resources we rely on every day. The maps were part of a larger information packet that also discussed jobs and wages supported by the industry in each congressional district in the country.
