From Data Production Shop to Business Platform at San Antonio Water System

San Antonio Water System, the nation's 6th largest water utility, sought to transition GIS from data production shop to business platform. Supporting 1,500 users in a migration to ArcGIS Enterprise presented significant challenges. A major milestone achieved in only 6 months included multiple geodatabases, web apps, process automations and asset management integrations. Portal, Insights, and Workflow components brought new business capability positioning GIS as a foundational business platform.
