Benefits of Spatial Collaboration in Arctic Research Project Using ArcGIS Online

The GIS is developed for project “Sustainable Arctic Marine and Coastal Technology”, associating 12 industrial, 9 educational, 2 public partners. It shows important for Arctic technology issues: ind. objects, DTM, erosion, sea currents, ice properties, installed equipment, obtained data. Key features: ArcGIS software; zoom from whole Arctic to detailed key sites 3D, created via Laser Scanning; math modeling possibility; online version allows partners collaborate remotely, exchange data, ideas.
