UN Sustainable Development Goals and a National Data Infrastructure

In May 2017 the Irish Central Statistics Office, in partnership with Ordnance Survey Ireland(OSi) and Esri Ireland began a UNSD/Esri Research Exercise to develop a new approach for monitoring UN Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs) using ArcGIS Open Data. The project team developed Ireland’s SDG Hub, hosted on OSi’s web portal, GeoHive. The hub provides access to geo-statistical data relating to SDG indicators. Users can search for, discover, download data, explore Story Maps and access Open APIs
