Data Interoperability: Merging InRoads with Client Data for KML Project Tracking

Engineers and Land Surveyors increasingly need to cross the bridge from CADD to GIS. This is especially true in transportation projects where data is used not just for creating a set of design plans, but the data is transferred downstream for managing the real estate and access component and ultimately used for facility management. The process from InRoads to project and agent data to dynamic GIS and KML products can be automated using the Data Interoperability extension within ArcGIS Desktop.
