Landing a Big Fish: The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service's NWRS Lands Mapper

The FWS Landsmapper was developed initially as a real estate research and mapping application using the Adobe Flex API in 2009. This presentation will show steps taken to recreate the application using Web App Builder with with no previous development experience.<br /> I'll present solutions I've found for display of 55,000 parcels and 564 refuges over a variety of basemaps at widely varying scales. Creative use of zoom dependency, vector tiles and 'ghosted' feature services will be demonstrated.
