A Mobile Effort to Improve Occidental Petroleum Corporation’s Data

This project illustrated how a GIS process and mobile application was used to collect and improve Occidental Petroleum Corporation’s database. The project empowered employees across Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma to view and collect data in a disconnected environment and upload it when back in the office. The benefits of this project are a low cost way to make database improvements, and share them rapidly with the entire organization.
