Modeling the Built Environment at the Alamo Colleges District

Moving forward from a successful pilot project, the Alamo Colleges District has expanded its GIS systems, integrating asset management and incorporating data from new technologies such as drone and LIDAR as-built surveying. The data is being used on the Northeast Lakeview Campus to create detailed maps for both students and the administration. Integrating GIS has allowed Alamo to further its commitment to empowering its students and employees to reduce their individual environmental impacts.
