The Town of Cary’s Simulated Smart City

The Town of Cary is turning its Town Hall Campus into a Simulated Smart City (SSC). The SSC Program incubates IoT technology powered by public/private partnerships that create an ecosystem to test, develop and showcase solutions on their campus to drive economic growth and improve quality of life by harnessing technology that leads to smart outcomes. As this program evolved, they realized Esri Platform’s capabilities would be a key part of their IoT efforts, providing real-time data.
