The world is challenged with increasing food production while sustaining biodiversity and ecosystem services, all while tackling climate change; but an integrated spatial plan to guide this is lacking. We propose to create a framework to understand where agricultural investments to address food security and poverty should be prioritized with consideration to nature and minimizing GHG emissions. These areas are important to making the best, highest-impact use of these funds.
