Getting the Most Out of a Plant Map

A growing number of public gardens are using the Esri mapping platform, including the Parks and Gardens solution, to maintain detailed maps of plant collections. This talk describes diverse and innovative uses of plant maps in public gardens, with a focus on Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix, Arizona. Specific examples may be of general interest for plant monitoring, arboriculture, and geodesign.
