Collaborative GIS for Hawaii's 20 Mile Elevated Rail Project

The Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) is currently building a 20-mile, 21 station driverless, elevated rail system. To implement this project, HART has developed several spatial solutions customized for GIS professionals and non-technical users alike. These include a program for daily noise inspections, apps for environmental screening, and semi-automated environmental assessment reports. These systems have helped HART and its contractors to tackle complex coordination problems
