GIS Supporting Data Driven Homelessness Solutions

Homelessness is a challenging issue and an effective data driven approach has yet to be fully realized in the USA. Esri software tools like Survey123 can give agencies the ability to easily collect data and better understand the dimensions of problems and solutions. In Jan. 2017, the City of Aurora, CO was the first to utilize Survey123 for the nationwide homeless Point In Time count. In 2018, we plan to roll out enhanced methods, including the full PIT survey throughout the metro Denver area.
