The City of Salinas stormwater program has turned to cloud-based GIS services to streamline data collection and regulatory reporting. Field staff use mobile apps to inspect City assets to inform maintenance actions. Advanced spatial analytics use data trends to iteratively quantify program progress and guide municipal priorities. Geospatial data models and maps demonstrate regulatory compliance and educate the community on the value of stormwater as a resource and its impact to water quality.
