Mapping Prenatal Vitamin Distribution in West Africa Following the Ebola Crisis

The Ebola outbreak took a tremendous toll in the countries of Liberia and Sierra Leone, both in lives lost and the worsening of an already weak health infrastructure. In response, Direct Relief is distributing 400,000 bottles of prenatal vitamins throughout both countries with the help of local partners. For this aim, GIS is instrumental in project planning, mapping, monitoring, and data interpretation. Hear how Direct Relief was able to utilize GIS with stakeholders in improve project outcomes.
