Telling the Seminole Story: Utilizing Esri Story Maps to Engage Tribal Youth

Engaging the Seminole Tribe of Florida community at large is one of the main tenets of the Tribal Historic Preservation Office (THPO) Archaeometry Section. So, we’ve embarked on engaging Tribal youth in an innovative and multifaceted Esri Story Map project. This will be completed by high school students creating their own Story Maps focusing on a Seminole History topic of their choice. Once finished, the Story Maps will be on display in an interactive exhibit at the Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum.
