Abstract
Identifying Geospatial Patterns Amongst Conflict and Food Insecurity in Nigeria
Track: Defense and Intelligence
Authors: Derek Silva
Spatio-temporal data can be utilized to understand the geospatial relationships, changes, and movements of indicator phenomena to formulate a comprehensive and tactical approach to mitigate the further expansion of such events. Through the understanding of how conflict diminishes food security, governments and humanitarian organizations can establish protection measures to stabilize conflict levels and intensify food production and distribution to those most at risk.
