The Forgotten Children of Africa

This study uses a data-driven approach to understand why children are orphaned in Africa and subsequent needs for improvement. Data analysis, using the percent change of orphaned children compared with all children, suggests that unhealthy children are orphaned at higher rates. The goal to identify those sites in need of resources such as government and private run orphanages and health facilities.
