The National Risk Index (NRI) was developed by FEMA to identify areas of with the highest risk to Natural Hazards. The NRI includes numerous authoritative geospatial data sets for natural hazards, social vulnerability, resilience, and built environment. The output from this project serve to inform local and regional project prioritization resource allocation, direct integration into mitigation planning, and support the FEMA Risk MAP program. <br />
