Drone2Map: How Leveraging sUAS Technology Has Revolutionized Our Business

Lake County, IL's Stormwater Management Commission purchased an sUAS on July 10th, 2017. On July 12th, we were hit with a record flood. By utilizing sUAS technology, Drone2Map, and ArcGIS Pro, we were able to fly to inaccessible areas, create 'live' aerials, and share this information with the public. We now use this technology for site inspections, 3D modeling, contour generation, and aerial imagery, all within ESRI's suite of products.
